The adrenaline during the storm chasing scenes has me turning that pages QUICKLY, but when not actively chasing I found that there wasn't much that gave me the want to keep going. Not a DNF, but I wasn't emotionally attached to these characters until much later in the book.

That and the thing that stuck with me the most is how UPSET Sloane got when Wes didn't read an email in totality (rightfully so) but then went ahead and chewed him out before reading the DQ email in its entirety. Girl was emotionally charged and everything but damn.

Otherwise this was a FUN read and I really enjoyed the dynamic of these two. He's OBSESSED with her and I love the level of love he has for her right off the rip. THE YEARNING HELLO. I just REALLY wish she wasn't sooooooo guarded so late in the story.

A big thanks to Berkley and Heather Frances for the eARC via NetGalley
