Lauren Blakely is an author where I will read ANYTHING and EVERYTHING she writes.
An instant connection turned into what was going to be a one-night-stand, until he never showed.
Months later, he shows up to the small town she lives in and is her BODY GUARD.

I honestly have never seen or read a bodyguard romance quite like this one. Ripley (FMC) runs the lavender farm in town and her twin sister landed a lead role for a movie that's filming in the very town they grew up in. Banks (MMC) is hired, along with his company, to work on the movie set as protective services. Ripley keeps getting mistaken for her famous sister, so Banks ends up as Ripley's personal bodyguard for the time being.
Forced Proximity, One Bed, Grumpy Sunshine, Small Town. All my favorite tropes bundled into one!

I was hoping that this would be the start to a new series, but that epilogue is either a BIG spoiler for what's to come or it wrapped everything up nicely and we'll never get to visit these characters again.
Other than the VERY weird names (the dog, Hudson, was the most normal name in this whole book), I had a GREAT time and loved every moment of it.
